Founded in 1995, The Arbor Collective is a growing cooperative of snowboard designers, artists and friends, whose shared goal is building rideable and wearable things from the best stuff possible. Arbor is committed to building snowboards with a more out front use of beneficial materials such as wood, bamboo, and other sustainable resources.
The goal is to produce the highest quality, handmade snowboards possible, and hopefully inspire a few people to be part of leading the effort to protect the planet. Since day one, The Arbor Collective has donated to groups that protect and restore forests, with donations primarily going to preserving the Koa forests of Hawaii.
Along the way, they’ve managed to combine a little forward thinking design and old school craftsmanship to produce some of the best snowboards made. Salter’s will be featuring the Whiskey, Formula, and Poparazzi models in inventory this year. We're glad to have Arbor join our snowboard lineup along with K2 and Flow. Stop in and check them out!
