What an experience. We’re at Beaver Creek for the Alpine World Championship and we took in the men’s downhill race yesterday. Being in the stands close to the bottom of the course you’re able to see the racers fly over the last jump and straight-line through the finish at 85 mph. It was breath taking and awe inspiring that the American team skied well with Travis Ganong getting the Silver Medal and Steve Nyman just missing the podium with a fourth place finish. There is still another week of racing to go. Tune in if you can.
